 Review of a Greyhawk Player It did in fact generate characters and the background stories were nice as well, but the interface was hard to use. I did find it rather rough that the level 2 characters came with a lot of magical items.
 Concise Index Of Character Templates The thing which was useful to me in this software was the concise way the variety of character generation templates was put together and the logical way in which it was presented. This was certainly the most useful feature of the program, and for this reason I can recommend that anyone interested in roleplaying games as they were once known, i.e. pen and paper type, which became popular in the eighties, should definitely download the free trial version which has merit, even though some extended functions are disabled.
Well worth a look for roleplaying aficionados!

You can play using the keyboard or a joystick, and a save feature allows you to start the game at any world already reached before, but it is also possible to suspend a game in progress. The story is told in entertaining cutscenes, but you can also disable them if you wish.
